United Autos increases price of US150 model by Rs60,000

Web Desk : In a surprising move, United Autos has left motorcycle enthusiasts in shock by announcing a staggering Rs 60,000 increase in the price of its popular US150 model.

Launched just months ago as the most budget-friendly 150cc bike in Pakistan, the US150’s sudden price hike now positions it at Rs. 330,000.

This decision comes at a time when the Pakistani rupee has exhibited notable strength against the US dollar, leaving consumers puzzled and disgruntled.

Electric wave surges

While traditional motorcycle prices are on the rise, the electric vehicles (EVs) market in Pakistan is experiencing a surge in growth. Last week, Chinese electric bike manufacturer Yadea made a significant entry into the market by inaugurating its first showroom in Lahore.

Alongside this milestone, the company unveiled its first electric scooter, the T5 model, priced at Rs. 245,000. Boasting an impressive 105KM range on a single charge, Yadea aims to capitalize on the rising demand for eco-friendly transportation options in the country.
