A two-day 5th International Conference On Applied Zoology Hybrid Mode started at the Khawaja Fareed University

Rahim Yar Khan: A two-day 5th International Conference On Applied Zoology (ICAZ-2022) Hybrid Mode started at the Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT) on Monday. Vice Chancellor of the Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali was the chief guest while Vice Chancellor of KFUEIT Prof. Dr. Muhammad Suleman Tahir inaugurated the conference. More than 250 professors and zoological research scholars from national universities participated in the conference.

During the inaugural address, Prof. Dr. M. Suleman Tahir said that the main objective of this conference was to enhance the research work in zoology. The research was essential for the development of any society. He said that this conference will create development in the society with economic reforms, increase in production and knowledge of basic sciences. When research will increase, it will enhance inventions.

Vice Chancellor Quaid-i-Azam University Prof Dr Muhammad Ali said that Khawaja Fareed was a poet of nature and personality of a liberal mind in the region. He said that the Applied Zoology conference increase the impactful research and the new technologies to enhance production will be introduced. In an online address chairman, HEC Dr MukhtarAhmed said that there was a need to eliminate the distance among academia and that the universities should introduce a culture of mutual cooperation. He said that with the help of research collective benefits should be obtained. On this occasion, Commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan Liaqat Chattha also address the participants and appreciated the efforts of Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. M. Suleman Tahir and his team.

At this moment Vice Chancellor Kohsar University Muree Prof. Dr. Habib Bukhari and Vice Chancellor University of Okara Prof. Dr. Muhammad Wajid also spoke. Gold medals and certificates were awarded to 40 research scholars from different universities in Punjab and Sindh. Vice Chancellor University of Okara, Dr. M. Wajid, Sector Commander Brig. Rizwan Ullah, Dr. Asghar, Registrar Dr. Muhammad Sagir, Dean Prof. Dr. Shehzad Murtaza, DSA Dr. Aslam Khan, faculty members and a large number of students were also present.
