BAHAWALPUR:The Agrarians and Environment Students Society, Directorate of Students Affairs, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Faculty of Agriculture & Environment successfully organized Sports Gala, Fun Fest-2022. In this 2-day festival included various games for the students, in which the students actively participated and had a lot of fun. The Vice Chancellor was the chief guest of the opening ceremony of the festival. The Vice Chancellor highly appreciated to faculty for this healthy activity. He said that sports help in character building and psychological training of students. It helps us to learn discipline which plays an important role in character building in any field of knowledge. While the chief guest of the closing ceremony was Dean Faculty of Agriculture & Environment, Prof. Dr. Moazzam Jamil. On the occasion of closing ceremony, he said that the entire faculty deserves congratulations for organizing this successful festival. Especially Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Nafees, Prof. Dr. Naveed Aslam, Prof. Dr. Anjum Aqeel, Dr. Muhammad Naeem, Dr. Ghulam Hassan Abbasi, Dr. Aown Samar, Dr. Maqshoof Ahmad, Dr. Azhar Hussain, Dr. Imran Khalid, Faculty Deputy DSA, Dr. Muhammad Latif, all Incharge Students Affairs, the Agrarian & Environmental Student Society and their entire organizing team who worked hard day and night. Off course no single person can make this possible, it requires everyone’s cooperation. So the all together made it a success. He added that it is a matter of pride that Dean Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum, Dean Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Aftab Hussain Gilani, Director Branding Center Dr. Samar Fahad, Director Press Media and Publications Shahzad Ahmed Khalid, Director Sports (Female), Dr. Ambreen Maqsood, Advisor Directorate of Sports, Ms. Kalsoom Akhtar and all other distinguished faculty members and students of the university were present here.
