Iub 1st Inter Departmental Cricket League was organized by the Environment Protection Society to raise funds for the flood affected people in the Southern Punjab.The 3 days event was held from 11-13th October in which more than 25 teams participated in matches.
The Director Campus Mian Muhammad Umair Ashraf has taken a great initiative to support the flood victims financially and he is continuing this venture along with his dedicated team to make a positive impact through healthy sports activities.
The inaugural of Cricket League was attended by Dr Muhammar Pervaiz, Dr Sara Gul, Dr Safia Bibi, Dr Uzma Hussain, Dr Sheraz Akhter, Mr Muhammad Umer, Mr Adnan Baig, and Mr Rizwan.
The Director Campus Mian Muhammad Umair Ashraf, Campus Coordinator Mr Fahad Javed Baig, Chief Hostel Warden Dr. Muhammad Sajjad, Incharge Estate Care Mr Shahid Hussain,Dr Muhammad Umair and Dr Muhammad Junaid(Department of Physics) attended the closing ceremony and distributed Trophies and Medals among winning team of Department of Physics, runner up team of Boys Hostel and other teams of participating departments.
